Accessibility
Our commitment to making AYCM Manuscript and this website accessible to all writers.

Our Commitment
AYCM, LLC wants every writer to be able to plan, draft, and finish their stories. We are committed to making the AYCM Manuscript apps and this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies.
Standards We Aim For
For this website, we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we review the site as we add new pages and features.
What This Website Provides
- A “Skip to content” link and consistent keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
- Support for the “reduce motion” setting on your device — animations and smooth scrolling are turned off when you enable it
- Descriptive alternative text on informative images and screenshots
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and labels for screen readers
- A dark, high-contrast color scheme designed for readability
The AYCM Manuscript Apps
The iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android apps are built on each platform's native frameworks and are designed to work with platform accessibility features such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, and system text-size settings. If an assistive technology you rely on does not work well with the app, we want to hear about it.
Known Limitations
The interactive studio demos on this site are visual, mouse-and-touch-oriented previews of the app and may not be fully usable with a screen reader. They are optional — every piece of information they present is also described in text on our Features page.
Feedback
If you have difficulty using any part of AYCM Manuscript or this website, or have suggestions for making them more accessible, please email us at support@aycmmanuscript.com. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
